Cyanotype is famous for its deep blue tone and is a very fun monochrome printing technique accessible to everyone and achievable at home.
This workshop is designed for photographers and illustrators (amateur or professional).
What you can expect:
Create your own negative for printing
Everything you need to know about the cyanotype technique so you can continue practicing it independently.
Take home your own prints they will be posted to yours once they dried.

Workshop Flow
Part 1: Online Session (1 Hour)
Evening 26th of February 2025 - Time tbc
Details: During the online session, you’ll be guided on using Photoshop to create your own negative. This will give you enough time to print it, so you can bring your own photograph or design to use during the workshop.
Requirements: Have your laptop with Photoshop installed ready.
Part 2: In-Person Workshop (4 Hours)
22nd of March 2025 - 11am to 3.30pm

Prepare Cyanotype Solution
Coat paper: paper will be provided
Lunch Break: 30-minute break (please bring your own lunch)
Exposing the negative to UV light
Development & Drying process
Archiving: Learn to preserve your cyanotypes for long-lasting results.
Cost: £150 per person
Tea, coffee, and snacks will be available throughout the session.
